McDonough's Teaching Resources

This blog contains technical ideas used for teaching and administrating an educational classroom.

I have a few hundred sites saved in My Favorites. I am going through them to see which are worth revisiting. I look for practicality, simplicity, and usually free stuff.

If you have a suggestion, please let me know at rmcdonough@mvca-oh.com.

This is a work in progress. Come back often as I will be adding resources regularly as I get up to date.

TED ED YouTube Channel

The nonprofit group called TED, known for streaming 18-minute video lectures about big ideas, today opened a new YouTube channel designed for teachers and professors, with videos that are even shorter.  A new site, which will launch in early April 2012, will feature these new TED-Ed Originals as well as some powerful new learning tools, but for now here is the YouTube version.  Thanks Michelle.  And yes, "there is an app for that".
